Trump/Pence Signs AvailableTrump Pence 2020 sign

The Whiteside County Republicans have some 2020 Trump/Pence signs for sale as a fundraiser for the local county party. The cost is $5 per sign/wire stake. Signs are available from Kurt Glazier in the Sterling, Rock Falls, Tampico and Coleta areas by calling 815-441-4737. Signs are available for those in Erie, Albany, Morrison, Lyndon, Fulton and Prohetstown areas from Chad Weaver by calling 563-528-2888. Limited quantities are available. We are not making deliveries; you will need to pick up your sign(s) from with Kurt or Chad.

Whiteside County, Illinois is divided into 60 precincts. Our organization is comprised of committeemen elected from those precincts, as well as appointed to precincts; management of the organization is placed in the hands of selected committeemen and officers who are elected by the committeemen at the county convention (following every even-year primary).

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Central Committee shall be to establish, organize and promote the operations of the Whiteside County Republican Party, and other functions that from time to time, may be deemed proper and appropriate. The Central Committee is the governing body of the Republican Party of Whiteside County, Illinois, and is an integral, but independent, part of the National Republican Party and of the Illinois Republican Party. It shall have the authority to take all appropriate action to promote the principles and programs of the Republican Party.

Whiteside County Republican Central Committee Meetings

Meetings are held in the downstairs meeting room (immediately to your left upon entering front entrance off of Main Street) at Happy Joe's, 109 West Main St., Morrison, unless otherwise noted. Social time and pizza at 6:00 pm; Meetings begin at 6:30 pm unless otherwise noted.

  • April 15 (Wednesday; same date as County Convention. The meeting will be a dinner meeting starting at 5:30pm at Forest Inn Restaurant.)

Meetings subject to change without this website being updated. Members will be reminded of any changes via email notices or via phone. Others are encouraged to call or email the chairman.

All guests/visitors are welcome and welcome to speak, but the speakers must contact the Chairman by phone or via email for approval no less than one week in advance in order to be included on the agenda in the essence of time and to stay on schedule. 2020 Scholarship Application Now Available!

The Whiteside County Republican Party Committee is eager to once again, award a $1,000 scholarship to an upcoming Whiteside County high school graduate applying to a 2- or 4-year college/trade school for the fall of 2020. Likewise, the party will award an additional $1,000 scholarship to a Whiteside County college student who is currently attending a 2- or 4-year college or trade school located anywhere in the United States and will continue enrollment for the fall of 2020.

Whiteside County Republican Party Chairman Kurt Glazier stated, “These scholarship opportunities to invest in our resident students has a lasting benefit that will help open many doors for our future leaders. We, as a party, feel honored to have this opportunity to come together as a party and financially provide assistance to a young student leaders year after year.” An application and full eligibility requirements can be downloaded here. Applications shall be postmarked no later than March 2, 2020. Any applications postmarked after that date will not be accepted. Scholarships will be awarded in May 2020 and paid to the winner's school in August for the fall 2020 semester.
